HUBZone Office Requirements
To meet SBA requirements for HUBZone certification, your business must provide the following:

Proof of Principal Office Location

A fully executed lease or deed valid at the time of the firm's Electronic Verification Date (EVD).

The firm’s full legal name must be listed as the lessee, renter, or owner.

If a month-to-month lease, an addendum or attestation from the landlord with proof of payment for three months prior to the EVD.

Shared Workspace Requirements

A lease agreement confirming dedicated office space with exclusive access and a lockable door.

Sufficient workspace furniture and equipment to support the number of employees claimed.

Proof of rental payments via canceled checks, bank statements, or credit card transactions.

Photos of the dedicated office space, including the full-length door and workstations.

Lease must be in effect at least 30 days prior to application and extend 90 days beyond submission.

Utility Bills Documentation

For utilities not included in rental payments and/or not specified in the lease, a signed declaration of included utilities from the landlord is required.
